Door opening for Rahm Emanuel

The New York Daily News reports that Democrat Party hack Rahm Emanuel will quit in the next 6-8 months. He is purportedly tired of sparring with Republicans. The New York Daily News notes the role that Governor Palin played in Emanuel's demise (emphasis added):

This year he battled Republicans on health care reform, watched the President's approval ratings plunge, and found himself embroiled in controversy when the Wall Street Journal reported that he had called a liberal group 'retarded' in a closed-door meeting, prompting Sarah Palin and other conservatives to call for his resignation.

Palin certainly deserves this scalp. Hopefully in a couple of years she'll be able to add a much bigger fish to her wall.
